Four Tasmanians have been world champions – John Brice (dec’d) and Maciej Sługocki, both with two World Championship Golds and Shane Gould and Neil Hickey with one each.
Overall the most decorated Tasmanian is Maciej Sługocki who has had a total of 8 podium finishes – two Gold, three Silver and three Bronze.
