Tony Goodwin is the Masters Swimming Australia top record breaker in 2022.
Our latest news looks at the records broken by Masters swimmers in Australia. 2022 saw masters swimming in Australia roar back to pre-pandemic level. A total of 233 national records in World Aquatics (WA) events were broken during the year with an additional 91 in non-WA events.
Australia’s top record breaker, Tony Goodwin set 15 new national records in WA events and a further 5 in non-WA events bringing his total for 2022 to 20.

John Cock’s 4th FINA World Record for 2021

John Cocks continued his FINA World Record Breaking spree for 2021 with a 4th world record at the New South Wales Masters Swimming Championships – this time the world record was in the 100m butterfly.

New South Wales Masters Swimming Championships

mywaterworld.life takes a retrospective look-back at the NSW Masters Swimming Championships held at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre on 10 and 11 April.
Notable of course at the meet were the two world records by John Cocks and five Australian records as well as New South Wales, Victorian and Tasmanian records.
3 FINA World Masters Records set at the Tasmanian 2021 Summers

Three new masters world records were set at the Masters Swimming Tasmania 37th Summer Championships.
mywaterworld.life congratulates John Cocks on his two world record marks in the medley events and Jennie Bucknell for her new mark in the 50m freestyle.
